Stormwater Management Plans include practices that are passive, such as leaving vegetation undisturbed, as well as engineered facilities that require design calculations and "hard" infrastructure.

Construction practices that allow natural vegetation to remain in place, are the most cost effective stormwater treatment designs that can be utilized on a development site.
