News relating to the Willow Division of MatSu Emergency Services

Willow  Fire Welcomes new members and is now holding a Basic Firefighter Class through the month of April

 Station 12-1, Mile 69.5 Parks Highway

An Engine, Tanker, Rescue, Brush truck, and Ambulance are based here and ready to serve.

 Station 12-2, 4379 W Willow Fishhook Rd

An Engine, Tanker and Brush Truck are based closer to Hatchers pass and ready to serve. (about 10 miles up)

Your community Fire and EMS/Rescue Officers are:

Fire training night is every Tuesday at 19:00 (7pm). Feel Free to Stop by Station 12-1 along the Highway just north of the Community Center.

Youth members: Willow Fire Department has an active Explorer program for youth, age 14 (and finished with 8th grade) to 18. Stop by the station during Tuesday training for an application.  For more information click here.

 


 

 

The approximate Willow Fire Service Area is brown in the image below.

 

Caswell Fire Service Area is in pink below.   Coverage will be provided from Station 11-2 at Sunshine and Willow Fire Department until suitable facilities are available in the area.

They are still trying to get a station built.

The station will be 13-1 with equipment numbered accordingly.

Willow EMS

Willow EMS And Rescue

There is an Ambulance and Recue truck located locally in Station 12-1.

Some emergency personnel are trained and operate all equipment including ambulance, Rescue, Fire Engine, and Tanker. All attend required training to keep skills needed for operations they are involved with.
