The Mat-Su Borough Animal Shelter offers the following services to the community:

  • adopting out of dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals
  • accepting pets for potential rehoming
  • lost and found reports
  • housing strays
  • pet registration
  • microchip implantation
  • live animal trap lending
  • euthanasia and cremation
  • volunteer opportunities
